ANNOUNCEMENTS:

We will be starting 4X4 groups in October. A 4x4 is a group of 4 families who meet once a      month for 4 months simply for fellowship. Each family takes a turn planning that month's  activity. It doesn't necessarily have to be at your home - it could be anything you choose, such as  an outdoor activity, game night, dinner, etc. The groups will begin in October and end in  January. See Fran Nesta for more information. There will be a sign-up sheet in the lobby if you  are interested in joining a group.

Bowling Night - Friday, September 22nd from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
at Seneca Lanes Bowling Alley (2771 PA-257, Seneca)
$10 cost includes bowling, pizza & pop. Join us for an evening of fun, food, and fellowship with other area churches. You must pre-register for bowling. (676-4618)

Our annual Missions Conference will be held on Sunday October 8th with Judy Thompson. Judy will share her experiences working with Missionary Kids at Alliance Boarding schools. She will have a prayer activity for the congregation during prayer time, a display table during fellowship time, and present the message during worship. After worship will be an International Food Fair. Everyone is asked to bring an ethnic dish that is labeled. We want to include dishes from Ecuador, Indonesia, and Germany. These are the countries Judy has served in. We would like dishes from other countries as well. After lunch we will gather back in the worship center for awards for the International Food Fair and a question and answer time with Judy.

                                                  Meeting the Holy Spirit
In the words of Francis Chan, the Holy Spirit is the "Forgotten God".  It seems we find it easier to relate to Father God or Jesus, but a bit challenging to experience the Holy Spirit. Set aside November 4th and 5th to experience the Holy Spirit. Jesus tells us in John that it would be to our advantage for Him (Jesus) to go away so the Helper (Holy Spirit) could come. Come expectant as Rob Douglas leads us in learning about the presence of the Spirit, hearing the voice of God, dealing with grief, wounds, fear, hurts that bind us, the believers authority and more.  Come experience Freedom, Healing and Life!
